Fitdoghome.com has brought together under one roof, a veritable A-Team of dog
trainers and handlers, who are also designers and makers of Agility and Flyball
equipment. They started out as you did, with a love of dogs and a fascination
for their respective sports, and in every case an unexpected business was born
of the need for items that were not readily available. The result has been the
creation of some of the best and brightest ideas in training and trial equipment
for Dog Agility and Flyball today.
We are proud to showcase their innovative product lines, and to introduce our
Fitdog.com family...
Mark & Robin Ford, with their lively pair of MACH winners, Abby & Reilley. Besides
competing in Agility Robin also gives lessons. Mark began designing and making
Agility equipment in 1999 as a sideline to his job at the John Deere Company.
These days, it's way more than a sideline.
Mark Ford: “I make top of the line equipment with the best materials.
I want the equipment I build to last for my customers.” All Mark's equipment is
built according to AKC specifications. Mark's Agility Equipment, Toledo, Ohio.
Peter
Chan
Another beautiful Abby, inspiration of Peter Chan, California. "Abby is
where it all began," says Peter. She's one of the most important members
of his family.
After Peter spends hours handcrafting his custom flyball jumps, Abby does
the testing. She's fast as they come, loyal and loving, and crazy about
the sport of Flyball. Flydog Sports, Pleasanton, California. |

Meet Chakotay, Keith Yockey's
muse. Keith discovered Flyball 10 years ago, browsing the web in search
of something to occupy his new dynamo of a Border Collie... a gift from
his wife. He went to a seminar and learned more about the sport. Then he
made himself a Flyball Box. "The next thing I knew, other people were
asking me to make equipment for them..." he says, and the rest, as
they say... is how Keith came to be making his own unique line of Chakotay's
Flyball equipment today. Key Products, Landrum, South Carolina. |
