UPS Ground
As we head into 2008 it is no longer true that most of our items are shipped via UPS Ground, according to weight and your zip code. Constant increases in costs and perpetual adjustments to the shape and size of UPS’s ‘standard’ box means that we now ship by freight carrier more often than not.
On large heavy pieces you will find an additional amount for packaging or crating materials. Additional packaging charges are itemized on the check out page, separate from either the Flat Rate S&H or the UPS charge. In most cases the additional packaging includes a UPS charge for ‘irregular’ sized box.
Flat Rate S&H
The larger contact obstacles... Dog Walks, A-Frames, etc., are shipped via freight carrier due to excess weight and size, and assigned a Flat Rate freight charge. You will find the Flat Rate Shipping and Handling charges, listed right on the product information page so you will know before you order what you can expect the shopping cart to add.
All shipping rates are within USA lower 48 states.
Shipping Weight vs. Item Weight
Remember shipping weights are not the same as item weights. Packaging and crating materials add extra weight to the items.
Refund Policy
We guarantee all items free of manufacturing defects and will repair or replace any item which does not work as intended within 30 days of delivery. We will refund your money, less shipping costs and re-stocking fee of $25.00, on regular in-stock items, as long as they are returned un-used. Large custom made items are not refundable. Delivery Time
Our items are made by different suppliers in different parts of the country. Check the product information page to see where your item will ship from. Delivery times range from 2-7 days, to 3-4 weeks for large custom pieces. Delivery times can vary depending on work load and time of year, but we will send you an email on receipt of your order to let you know when you can expect your items to ship.
The Shopping Cart
Our shopping cart has been hard to train and we have never really mastered it. With the current proliferation of fuel surcharges now being tacked on by every delivery service, a fully automated shopping cart for these products has proven to be an impossible dream.
If you order items which require Flat Rate shipping, you will not be able to add items which require UPS ground in the same shopping cart, and vice versa. If your order multiple items the shopping cart will charge you shipping on a single item and we will call you and ask you to send a check for the balance.
We recommend that you make a separate order for each item, or just send us an email with the items you want and we will call you with your total and get your payment information by phone. We are working to improve the obedience of the shopping cart and we thank you for your patience if you have encountered a problem with it.
